My freebie copy of the Stampers' Sampler "Take Ten" magazine came today, and here are my 3 pages. It's always a buzz to see one's creations in print.
Welcome, and thanks for visiting.
Yes, this is where we live - as close to paradise as one can get!
I blog about all the good things in my life - family (1 husband, 2 grown children and a beautiful grandson, Harper, born on 8 Nov. 2010), cardmaking, stamping and other papercrafts, sewing, beading, jewellery and other crafts, our beloved cats (currently 4), pet pigs and sheep, the birds and wild things around us, our garden and what we grow, and how lucky we are to live on our 14 acre little itsy bitsy farm in beautiful New Zealand.

Congrat's Tilly. I'm so glad you posted this. I've looked for the magazine, but haven't found it yet to check out your cards. They are awesome!
ReplyDeletewell done Tilly. These look amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Tilly how lovely to be published
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are fabulous cards! Congrats on being published!!!
ReplyDeleteTilly,
ReplyDeleteI purchased "Take Ten" because of your cards! Congratulations on being published! I love how the ink looks like watercolors. What tool did you use to apply the ink colors to the paper? I can't tell if it's a dabber or brush or simply swiped on the paper? I'm definitely going to check out the scenery stamps you used.
Thanks,
Angela
Tilly,
ReplyDeleteOk, now I feel stupid! I read the instructions twice, and just "got it" after reading a 3rd time. You swiped the colors onto a solid rectangular background stamp then stamped the paper? Cool! I love it!
Congrats again!
