Hello bloghoppers! You will have arrived here from the lovely Linda's blog, so you will have realised by now that today's blog hop is a super sized extravaganza of inspiration and ideas from both the RRR team and the Sparkle n Sprinkle team. Along with the wonderful Spring Ribbon Club Assortment this month, the Really Reasonable Ribbon DT got to play with Sparkle n Sprinkle products (aren't we lucky?), so here's my contribution to the hop-along.
Like many of you, I try to make most of the gifts I give, and I know from experience that sets of small blank gift cards with envelopes are always welcome, so here's what I made for the Blog Hop today, using this stamp set and some of the other goodies from Sparkle n Sprinkle (embossing powder, glitter and other glitzy bits).
The envelope gift bag is a perfect container for these little sets of cards and envelopes, and so easy too. For this one I made a vellum envelope (from a template made from an old de-constructed envelope), as I love the look of embossed vellum and wanted to stamp it before I folded it. I slipped a piece of pink card inside too so that the stamped and white embossed image was crisp and clear. (If you don't want to emboss your vellum, use Opaque White Stazon ink for a softer look.) The cards are super easy too - just a circle punch, stamps, ink and all the glitter and glitz you would like to add to the stamped cards and circles. I glued the circles inside the cards as that allowed me to thread and tie the ribbon through the holes for a bit of dimension.
Now head on over to Our Sparkle Adventure blog to see what other treats are in store for you, and thanks for bloghopping with us all today. I hope you've had a fun ride.
