Today's the day! It's time for the monthly Blog Hop on Really Reasonable Ribbon, with inspiration and ideas galore from the Design Team, and my contribution below as an honored Guest Designer for the month of May.
You will probably have arrived here via Corri's blog, where you will have been treated to some wonderful eye-candy, after browsing through the other Design Team's blogs.
The May Ribbon Club assortment is to die for! Really! Here's what I made with it - a card for a friend. (If you check my previous post here you will see that the same ribbons were used, and I think today's dress card would also be wonderful framed and given to a friend.)
I used only the top half of this free digital dress stamp from Papercraft Inspirations magazine. (Lots of wonderful free downloads of papers, templates and digi stamps there. Take a look.)
I cut a template of the skirt and covered it with doublesided adhesive paper, then cut strips of luscious ribbon and laid them over the template, tucking the ends in at the back. The bodice of the dress is paper-pieced, and the lovely sentiment is a Stampin' Up stamp. As you can see, I couldn't resist adding a touch of bling too!
So, now, on with the party! Be sure to hop on over to Cheryl's blog to see what she's created with these wonderful ribbons, and of course .............
don't forget to visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop for ribbons, trims and embellishments that will make you want to rush off and place an order right away.
I hope you've enjoyed hopping with the RRR team today, and that you'll be back to visit the blog and the shop, where neverending inspiration awaits you. (I think I should write speeches for politicians, don't you agree? LOL)
Have a great week, and may The Muse be with you all.
We are so thrilled to have you hopping with us...such a creative and fun way to use the ribbon.
